Pastor Brian Dash
The senior Pastor of WCC is Brian Dash who, with his wife Rhian, took on the role in September 2009. He follows in the footsteps of Steve Townsend who faithfully lead the church for 22 years, laying foundations on which Brian and the team are now building.
Brian comes out of a farm management background, but felt the pull into ministry as God ordained it. Leaving farm management, he worked as a schools evangelist for 17 years doing assemblies, lessons, coaching, mentoring and pastoral work on a part time basis. He has been involved in local church leadership for many years, stepping up to the pastor position after serving as an elder for some time in WCC.
Whilst doing this he built up a business in coaching teachers, leaders, young people and general clients.
Rhian has a strong pastoral ministry of her own, combined with hospitality.
Brian and Rhian have three children who have all left home – apart from when they’re hungry! They also have a foster child living with them on a long term placement.
